We implement a 360-degree, data-informed approach that engages the entire destination: residents, tourism professionals (stakeholders), and guests. This integrated model allows us to understand perceptions, measure impact, and align strategies across all levels of the destination.

IQM STANDARDS

Hotels

Hotels included in the project have a natural scent inspired by local plants. The hotel restaurant contains at least 25% Croatian products and at least 10% of local products, also offers at least three vegetarian dishes and two gluten-free dishes.

Campsites

Camps included in the IQM Destination project contain at least 25% of the program inspired by the destination story, and in the decoration of the camp they use local herbs.

Private accommodation

Private accommodation facilities included in the IQM Destination project are obliged to meet the requirements of a comfortable stay for guests, such as comfortable beds, high level of cleanliness, air-conditioned rooms, and pleasant smells.

Restaurants

Restaurants included in the project offer a rich selection of local specialties, at least ten Croatian wines, more than 25% local groceries and beverages. There is also a selection of special dietary forms such as vegetarian dishes, gluten-free and non-glucose dishes.

Tourist agencies

Tourist agencies included in the project are the most important partners in the destination. An important criterion is to have an offer of subjects that are included in the IQM Destination project.

Wellness

The wellness center and cosmetic salon included in the IQM Destination project offers at least five services that use local products. Staff is educated and educate clients about the healing properties of local herbs or local products they use.

Shops

Shops included in the IQM Destination project offer at least 25% of Croatian products and contain a health food corner. 

Souvenir shops

Aim of the project is the cooperation of local producers and souvenir shops. It is of great importance that the souvenir offer contains at least 25% of local products.

Family farms

Choice of vegetarian dishes, meals without gluten and lactose- free meal. Choice of at least two types of bread

Attractions

At least 50% of the program has a destination theme. Design, music, scents according to the destination.

About us

The authors of the project are Mrs. Šimičić Đurđica and Mrs. Anamarija Cicarelli, with the support of an external associate mr. sci. Pero Matić. Many years of their experience in tourism and management have led to the IQM destination project.
